Picking up a rental car at Prishtina Airport (PRN)
By Rento · Updated Oct 30, 2026
The short answer
Search for cars delivered to Prishtina Airport, choose the airport as your pick-up point at checkout and add your flight number. The company brings the car to the airport, and can follow your flight to see when you actually land.
If the company charges for airport delivery, the fee shows next to the airport on the car page and at checkout, before you pay. You pay it at pick-up, with the rest of the rental.
How airport pick-up works on Rento
- 1
Search by airport. In Where, pick Prishtina Airport under Airports. You see the cars whose companies deliver there.
- 2
Check the fee. On the car page, Where you pick it up lists the airports the company delivers to, with the fee for each, or No extra charge.
- 3
Choose the airport at checkout. Under Where you collect the car, pick it and fill in Flight number (optional).
- 4
Pay part online. The booking is confirmed the moment the payment goes through. The rest, airport fee included, you pay the company at pick-up (how paying works).
The airport is Prishtina International Airport “Adem Jashari” (PRN), which many travellers still call Pristina airport.
Give your flight number
It is optional, but it lets the company follow your flight and see when you actually land, so a delayed flight doesn’t leave anyone waiting at the wrong time.
Plans changed? Message the company from your trip. On pick-up day, Running late is one tap in the chat.
Where you meet the company
Each company hands cars over in its own way, so ask where exactly to meet once you have booked: Pick-up place in the chat writes “Where exactly do I pick up the car?” for you.
Some companies have their desk at the airport itself. The car page then marks it Company desk, and collecting there carries no delivery fee.
Bring your driving licence, your ID card or passport if you haven’t verified your ID on Rento, and the amount due at pick-up (on pick-up day).
Returning the car before your flight
You return the car where you picked it up, unless you agree otherwise with the company. Picked it up at the airport? Then it goes back to the airport.
Leave yourself time. Our Terms give you an hour’s grace after the agreed return time; after that, each extra hour or part of one may cost 1/24 of the daily price (Terms § 14).
When the airport is busiest
August and July are Prishtina Airport’s busiest months. In 2025 it handled 513,708 passengers in August and 458,348 in July, against 307,418 in February, its quietest month (Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo).
Flying in then? Book the car when you book the flight. Prices by season explains what changes in summer.
Landing somewhere else?
Companies on Rento can also deliver to Tirana, Skopje and Ohrid airports. The car then crosses a border to reach you, so read taking a Kosovo rental car abroad first.
